Tell me about your Homecoming weekend! If you didn't participate in the Homecoming festivities, what did you do? Share pics!

My first Homecoming experience  was amazing because the girl I was with made me smile. At first, I went to her house and gave her her corsage. Then we went to Anderson's house to have our pictures taken. Next we went to dinner at Houlihans. After that we walked around at town center. We also went to the dance for an hour and a half. It was nice, but the music was really loud, because you could barley hear her talking to me because the music was too loud. After the dance we went to my friend's Zach's house and it was nice because we had snacks and talked around the bonfire, to end the night her mom took me home at 12:15 and we said our thank yous and goodbyes. Overall, it was a great night.

How was your weekend? Did you do anything exciting? Share photos!

My weekend was very thrilling and enjoyable because I was always doing something. Friday night, I had soccer practice and then I watched a movie called RED. Saturday morning, I went to Blue Valley High's cross country meet in Wyandotte County Park to cheer on some friends. They did very well and it was cool to see and be in the environment of my first cross country meet. Then, I watched college football and went to my brothers soccer game. They won five to two and then I went to my cousin's soccer game and they lost four to two. After that, I went to see The Maze Runner at Palazzo with six other friends and it was very good. Sunday, I sold my electric scooter after church and then I watched the Chiefs game and did my homework.

Now that you are several weeks in to this class and have coded one (super small) website, what do you think? What are your thoughts on web design? Is it what you thought it would be? Is it better? Worse? What's your favorite part? What's your least favorite part? Explain.

My thoughts on Web Design is that it is very fun when you know how to code correctly. When I forget the code that I need for that specific task it is difficult to complete it the way I would like to. It is somewhat similar to what I thought it would be like but since I have only been in high school for a couple of weeks I did not expect much of what it would be like because I would have no other way of knowing without talking to upper class man.My favorite part is blogging every day at the start of class and my least favorite part is coding and taking test.

What is the importance of deadlines? How do high school deadlines reflect or simulate "real world" experience? Give an example of when you met or or didn't meet a deadline that was important.

Deadlines are extremely important because if you don't meet them then you might receive a zero or a huge percentage off and even if you get a 100 percent than you would get a 60 or worse in the grade book and that is what colleges look at. High school deadlines reflect the real world by if you are late to work you get fired, if you are a reporter and don't turn in a report, you get fired, if you work in construction and don't finish a job on time you get fired, if you are a business man and are late to a meeting, then you get fired, if you are an athlete and are late to a game or match, you lose lots ans lots of money at the least. As you can see, it is important to meet deadlines and not procrastinate, lie or stall anything what so ever at anytime in your life. In the eighth grade we had a huge World War II unit and had a month long project worth 250 points, I received a 100 because I turned it in on time and went above and beyond.

Reflect on this quote. Give an example of a time in your life that this might have been the case.

This quote is very true and applies to everyone every single day usually more than once. By not preparing for either a test or really anything, you set yourself up for failure which is never an easy thing to accept in my opinion. Once in my life I was camping and we forgot rain coats so of course it rained a lot, we forgot a Coleman propane tank so of course it was cold, and we also forgot a tarp so all of our supplies and luggage got drenched. There is a lot to remember to the game of life and if you forget somethings than it will be very costly and sometimes unforgiving.

What did you do this weekend? Share pictures if you have them!

This weekend I went to the Blue Valley High School Football Game against West and we won by a pretty big margin. I tailgated before hand and had barbecue which was very delicious. On Saturday, I watched college football, and got a suit for homecoming and bought some movies at Best Buy. That night, I went to my monthly bible study and I had four sloppy joes for dinner. On Sunday, I went to church a eight in the morning because I was doing camera and next I went to my sisters soccer game and did homework and watched the Patriots game and the Chiefs game. To end the night I watched the Bears comeback and beat the 49ers on Sunday Night Football on NBC.

Below is one of my favorite quotes that I found on Pinterest. Think read and think about what this says and then blog about it. What does this quote mean to you? Elaborate! Feel free to give an example of tell a story.
This quote means to me that people especially kids are very spoiled and somewhat bratty when they do not get what they want. I love when it says you have seen none percent of the world because that is very true and if you think that you have seen it all you really haven't, I have traveled through around 38 states in the country and I have hardly scratched the surface of what is out there in the world that never sleeps. I once was sick and said that I am bored but with a TV, phone, XBOX, and board games why should I say such a thing. No that I have realized that I should never say that I am bored I will work on saying it less and less. I liked this quote a lot! It was a huge eye opener.

How do you express your creativity? Explain.

I express my creativity by showing it during a soccer game or when I am in my room doing homework or a long project. That way I can really explain my thought process without being uncomfortable. During a game when I want to try something new I can if I know it is smart and will help the team not hurt it. Finally, I can express my original ideas in a story I am writing or in a picture I am drawing because I love visuals especially original ones.

What did you do this weekend? Share pictures if you have them!

This weekend I went to my cousins house and visited with them on Friday after we had a captains practice for soccer. On Saturday, I went to my sisters soccer game at the Overland Park Soccer Complex after thinking of ideas for Honors Biology, which was awful. Saturday night I went to a friends house, we played soccer outside, watched the Sporting KC game, had BLT's for dinner, and chocolate ice cream for dessert. On Sunday, I went to eight O'Clock church service and then did some Spanish homework. Then I watched the Chiefs get killed in their home opener. Next, I went to a funeral for my dad's side of the family, it was very sad. Next, I went to my sister's soccer game and she lost 1-0 sadly, it was fun though because my brother and I shot on each other the entire game on a different field.

Kids these days have way more than I ever did. With all their cellular devices and wireless internet, life is a breeze these days. I had to work harder than they ever did every day just to earn a living. I feel like every thing is now at their fingertips and easy access no matter what it is that they are doing. They have also put on some pounds since I was a kid, they throw away more food than I got to start with. I don't know if they are changing for the better all I know is that Miley Cyrus is insanely idiotic and I will never have a smartphone because there are no buttons and the screen hurts my eyes. Also I know that the world is rapidly changing in both good and bad ways.

Tell me about what you have learned in this class so far. Have you learned a lot? Do you want to learn more? What do you want to be able to do by the end of the semester?

I have learned a lot mostly about coding in HTML. I enjoy learning it because I find it interesting and it something I have never done before for sure. I would like to start and learn CSS because I have heard it is a lot more enjoyable than html. So I am definitely looking forward to that for sure. I want to be able to make my own website and customize it the way I would like. I am really looking forward to what is coming up because I am an open book right now and want to learn more every day. I also know it will help me later on in life.

Tell me all about your Labor Day weekend. What did you do? Include photos!

This weekend I saw Guardians of the Galaxy and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I loved Guardians of the Galaxy a lot, it was very unpredictable and thrilling. I didn't like the Turtle Ninja movie as much because the story line was not very entertaining. I also went to Wyandotte, Kansas and was in the parade on a float called there is no place like home. It was the theme of the fall festival. After that, I went to the fair in Wyandotte and almost threw up after riding a swing sort of roller coaster that went in circles for a very long time. Overall, it was a good long weekend.
